Return Shipping Costs

    This braided cotton sash cord combines a reinforced nylon core with a polished 100% cotton outer braid. The construction gives the rope strength while maintaining a smooth and flexible surface that is comfortable to handle.

    Traditionally, sash cord is used with the cords, weights, and pulleys found in double hung sash windows. Its low stretch design helps support smooth movement within this counterbalance system. Meanwhile, the abrasion resistant construction helps the rope handle repeated movement during use.

    The polished cotton braid is soft enough for easier handling and knot tying. It also helps knots remain secure without the outer braid easily fraying or unraveling. Inside, the reinforced nylon core adds strength and resistance to general wear.

    Although commonly associated with sash windows, this rope can also be used for clotheslines, awnings, hammocks, draperies, tarp rigging, home restoration, arts and crafts, theatrical sets, industrial projects, and other outdoor applications.

    Built with Two Different Materials
